Hi! Glad you made it. If you don’t know, I’m Asia Ashley, a seasoned Marketing professional from Chicago with a passion for crafting campaigns that breathe life into brands and projects through genuine human connection. But you know what? We evolve (as we all should). So, after years of helping ideas blossom at every stage, I realized I wasn't allowing myself to bloom fully in my pursuits.

I decided to spread my creative wings alongside my best friend and dive into the world of DJing. For eight years, we rocked Chicago as its first DJ Duo, but I still felt like there was more waiting to flower within me. That's when I had an epiphany—I began gathering poems I penned over the last decade, threading them into a poetry book called 'When Touch Becomes Water,' a tribute to my life experiences as a queer black woman. This decision led to my pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing & Poetics at the University of Washington.

In all my professional or creative endeavors, I'm captivated by the ever-evolving dance of human connection and our place in the world. Each client I work with shares a mission to sow seeds of change and opportunity for marginalized communities. My poetry? It's like a garden of emotions, sprouts of love, resilience, and the twists and turns of life's journey. As a DJ, I cultivate immersive sonic landscapes, blending genres and rhythms to create experiences that bring unity to the dance floor alongside my partner in rhythm.
